Abstract

Ᾱllᾱmᾱ Ᾱᾱlosῑ, a prominent scholar of the Thirteenth hijri century was an interpreter, jurisprudent and master of Arabic Language. He wrote a Tᾱfseer of the Holy Qūrᾱn with the name of Roohūl Mᾱ’ᾱnῑ. He discussed many Qūrᾱ’nῑc Sciences in it. Being a scholar of the Jurisprudence of the Hᾱnfῑ school of thought, he responded to the views of many scholars under several verses of the Holy Qūr’ᾱn. Many times, he presented a view which is quite, different from other scholars. He responded many times to Jᾱᾱfᾱrῑᾱ (Shῑᾱ) school of thought, which is named after the great Ῑmᾱm Jᾱᾱfᾱr Sᾱdῑq. This school of thought (Fῑqh Jᾱᾱfᾱrῑᾱ), holds a different view in many points i.e. it considers three times divorce as one. It considers fasting as compulsory even in the illness or in journey. It says that the inheritance of the Holy Prophet (SAW) will be distributed like the inheritance of other Muslims, but the other schools of thoughts have opposite views. They consider the marriage with Jews and Chrisitian as illegal. They consider legal without any reason the combination of Salat (Zūhūr and Asᾱr) and (Mᾱghrῑb and Eshᾱ). This article covers some of these topics related to fῑqh Jᾱᾱfᾱrῑᾱ and explain that how Ᾱllᾱmᾱ Ᾱᾱlosῑ responds to them with reasons in his Tᾱfseer Roohūl Mᾱ’ᾱnῑ.
