Abstract
Education refers to the continuous struggle of human beings which bestows upon the nations the development, stability and the rise. The main target of this important activity is to make familiar every class of the society with facts. Another aim of this useful job is to impart training for better fulfilment of religious and worldly affairs. In order to achieve this highly set target, all the managers and concerned individuals of education and training should be far-sighted, just, equitable, neutral and the bearer of a balanced thinking. That is why the educational and training system of developed societies, is free from the discrimination of religion, colour, creed, sex or region and provides equal opportunities to its every member for the purpose of moving ahead. In a society, where men are patronized with the wealth of knowledge and arts, women are also provided with the chance of edification and development. The credit of this high esteemed sexual equity, surly goes to the teachings of world religions especially to Islam and Christianity. Although both of these religions have laid stress on women education, however, we find some difference between the two. The main causes of this difference are the space of time of both religions and the areas and people to which both religions were revealed. Splendid performance of women in different fields of life is an award of precious teachings of these religions. In this specific religious context, the analysis of common teachings related to women education and training in Islam and Christianity is the literary and scholarly need of the hour. This research article has been written for the propagation and transmission of this social awareness among the different ranks of the society.
