Abstract
This academic paper presents the Mawdoyi interpretation of Asr surah of Holy Quran. Asr surah is the second smallest surah in holy Quran after Kauthar surah. Because of having the key Islamic issues, Asr surah has its distinguished importance. According to Imam Shafi, Asr surah is enough for the guidance of humanity and muslims. Asr surah discusses the issues related to Iman, good deeds and Wasiyah. These issues are the main pillers of Islamic Shariah . Keeping in mind these issues and the importance of this surah , I have selected to do the Mawdoyi interpretation of this surah
