Abstract
Advancements and innovations in the area of bio-medical research have made it possible to cure longstanding medical problems through effective medication and surgical interventions. Humanity has substantially benefited from such advancements. However, concerns have been raised about the medical malpractices and medical errors which occur throughout the process of contemporary medical practice. Regulatory frameworks and laws have now been tightened up almost everywhere in the world to address this downside of medical practices. This article aims at highlighting the Shariah approach regarding precautionary measures which are usually suggested to mitigate the problem of medical error.
