Abstract
Allah almighty has described the shares of different relatives in the inheritance of the demised person. Quran mentions the share of single daughter as well as of more than two daughters, but remains silent regarding those of two daughters. Resultanty there is difference of opinion regarding the share of two daughters, based on arguments. Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) says that two daughters have the right of half inheritance, while other (majority) argue that they will be inherited with the two third shares. The given article critically discusses the opinions of both sides with arguments and proves that the arguments of the majority are preferable that share of two daughters is two third of the inheritance.
