Abstract
Every society is loaded with faults and defects. In Human's Society, civilizations and religious institutions presented different views, but none of them came with the soul satisfaction of Human beings. Allah has bestowed human beings with a religion; Islam, which is a complete code of life. The preachers of Islam, Ulama and Fuqaha are constantly working for the solutions of those exiting defects in the society. In those defects, one of them is Honor Killing which common is Pakistani society and exiting specifically in Pathan areas. Honor Killing is an act of violence, usually murder, committed by male family members against female family members and their male accomplices, who are held responsible for bringing dishonor upon the family. Honor killing is known by different names in different language i.e. in Pashtu it is called "Tore", in Sindhi and Baloochi it is called "Karo Kari" and in Punjabi it is called "Kalla Kali". What is background of this type of killing? What are the reasons for this type of killing? And how can this killing be controlled in light of Islamic teachings? In this article all these points are discussed critically in eye of Islamic Shari'a.
