Abstract
Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi and Sultan Bahoo were famous Sufi poets. There is a gap of four centuries between both of them. However, they share significant thematic similarities regarding the origin of universe, knowledge, and wisdom, theory of love, annihilation in spiritual guide and form / transformation of realism. Both of them emphasize on reality as well as preciousness of world in their poetry. They give priority to love over knowledge and wisdom. In their Sufism annihilation of ego is important than annihilation in spiritual guide .A contrastive study has been conducted in this paper that enables the reader to understand the value of their works.
