Abstract
This research article is intended to savvy the depiction of Iran by US‘s two most popular magazines, namely, Newsweek and Time. Data analysis vividly shows that Iran is categorized as a foe or enemy country of America by both Newsweek and Time magazine respectively. The rowdy figuration in heavy amount has been found in the above mentioned magazines. The research exposes that how the American print media (magazines) sloughed and showed their sanguinary approach towards Iran. The portrayal of Iran by these magazines is very scathing. The spadework of article highlights the terse history or background of Iran and as well as reveals the hostile relations amid America and Iran. The study depicts that out of 20 articles written in both magazines the ratio of negative sentences was greater than the ratio of neutral sentences and the affirmative coverage was solely 5.74%. The data enlightens the stifling and sadist approach of American media regarding Iran. According to the foreign policy of America, Iran is considered as the rival country so both the magazines reflect and espouse this foreign policy towards Iran.
