Abstract
Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) had been a great Mujtahid of his time.The Muslim Ummah as a Whole has been taking full advantage from his achievements in the field of Fiqha. He is the founder of Hanfi school of thought. He adopted a rather convenient and effective methods in the field of Ijtihad and research. Also in the present age, Imam Abu Hanifa is followed and the scholars take advantages from his methodology he has introduced.
