Abstract

"The Ulma of the subcontinent have always shown a considerable interest towards the diverse Islamic philosophy and exerted great efforts for its conservation and development since centuries. There is no doubt that this fertile land has produced great scholars. Among these great scholars Shah Wali Ullah Muhaddis Dehelwi (1703-1762) is one of the prominent name, who has written many of books on different fields of Islam. Shah Wali Ullah is hailed as one of the greatest writer, researcher and thinker in the discipline of Islamic philosophy. This paper attempts to enlighten many aspects of his philosophical ideology and explores his scholarly contribution towards subcontinent's politics, economics, education and spiritual fields."
