Abstract
Human being has been gifted with various types of capabilities from Almighty Allah. He orders them to use these qualities in the light of his teachings. To utilize the sexual capability in a positive way all the revealed religions have put a transparent guideline of Nikah (Marriage), which is an agreement between man and woman through which permissible sexual interaction as well as numerous mutual rights are ensures. l It has the surety to bring comfort and peace in social life and paves the path to morality. What is Nikah? And what is its philosophy in Islamic teachings? These queries have been answered scholarly in this article.
