Abstract
The Concept of Prophethood is the fundamental belief of Semitic religions. This is why prophet hood and sanctity of Prophethood is the common base of the three Semitic religions. However there is an ideological contradiction among these three religions regarding the interpretation of Prophethood and the sanctity of Prophets. Judaism and Christianity believe in Prophethood but there is ambiguity regarding the sanctity of prophets. However the Islamic concept of Prophets is crystal clear, that does not intermingle the creator and the creation regarding the self and attributes.
