Abstract
Banking services are provided to facilitate masses with diversified variety of products. Lockers are one of main source of revenue for Islamic and conventional banks. We have evaluated the structure of lockers service product and found them in line with the concept of lease (Ijarah-tul Ashya) according to Islamic law of business contracts. Hence, lockers service is valid in Islamic and conventional banks of Pakistan. We recommend State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to extend these services to far areas of country, that will protect asset of people as one of the objectives of Shari’ah.
