Abstract
Iʽtrāḍ is an indispensable part of the Qur’ānic miracle. It appears in Qur’ān for most of time. It has been discussed in detail by Qur’ānic Rhetoricians particularly and by Qur’ānic commentators in general. Arabic grammarians have also dealt with this concept from their syntactical point of views. Keeping all these discussions in view there are several elements relating to this idea come to mind of reader either it is a Rhetoric concept, Syntactical concept or an idea relates to ʽIlm alBadīʽ. This paper attempts all these theoretical discussions along with its applicable hidden meanings in Qur’ānic Text.
