Abstract
Islam is the only Deen (way of life) of the world which provides complete guidance in all walks of life. Unfortunately, the real meaning of Deen (way of life) is not properly understood .Resultantly, majority of the Muslims consider Islam as religion (mazhab) like Hinduism, Christianity and Budhism etc which stress upon certain worships. People do not feel important to get Islamic guidance about political, social and economic spheres of life. This article explains the reality of Deen with reference to revealed knowledge. Political views of Dr. Israr Ahmad are analysed on the basis of his writings. Role of women in society and rights of non-Muslims are also brought under discussion.
