Abstract
The word fauz -o-flah (فوزوفلاح) is an Arabic word used frequently in the Holy Quran ,giving the meanings of real success ,achiements and those who are prosper indeed .As Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran: “Not equal are the inhabitants of the fire and the inhabitants of paradise.it is the inhabitants of paradise who are the successful” (59:20). The wordly life is short, a test and the life here after is its reward, either in the form of fire of hell or the paradise. Those who obey the commandments of Almighty Allah and lead their lives accordingly, are successful and are known as Muflihūn (مفلحون) . The others who pass their lives in their own ways (other than Quranic guidance), they are the inmates of the fire of the hell. Their capacities will be rendered inert, wasted and nulified and their wishes will end in futility. They are in loss and are known as khasreen (خاسرين). In this article endeavour has been made to explain,how Holy Quran guides the human,characteristics of righteous and God fearing people who lead there lives with in the parameters of Holy Quran,are successful in this world as well as in the life here after.
