Abstract

The present article discusses Hinduism as perceived in selected important Arabic sources, whether original or translated from other languages. The study is divided into three points: point one describes the axis of Hindu belief along with description of its main pillars and religious dogmas, point two narrates faith similarities between Hinduism, Judaism and Christianity and point three discusses the biggest issue of concern for followers of Hinduism themselves- the issue of Human Rights. A comparative study of the same issue has been provided at the end of the article with Islam, the religion of Mercy and justice and according to Qur’an designated by Allah (subanahu wa ta’ala) for the entire mankind to follow by choice.
