Abstract
The Idea of spirituality and mysticism is prevalent in the Islamic thought since centuries. Its theoretical construct was founded by Greeks that later inspired many a religions. The subcontinent religious thoughts also came in its fold like others. Hence Qadriah, Chishtiah, Naqshbandiah and Suharwardiah prevail in the area. This spiritual cleansing is not just present in Islam but it may be traced in other religions as well. Among the Muslim sects, Ismaili cult seems to be very much vibrant in this regard. Many a great spiritual leaders have remained in this cult. In the contemporary day, Allama Nasirud Din Hunzai contributed toward it significantly. He has written many key books regarding it. In this article a critical review of his idea of spirituality and Tasawuf is discussed.
